ABOUT THIS TEST

Career Fit Through Personality

The Holland Occupational Themes, developed by psychologist John L. Holland, is one of the most influential career assessment models. Holland proposed that people and work environments can be classified into six types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional (RIASEC). The theory suggests that career satisfaction and success are highest when there's a good match between your personality type and your work environment. Most people are a combination of 2-3 types, creating a unique career profile. This assessment has been extensively validated and is used worldwide by career counselors, educational institutions, and HR professionals. It's particularly valuable for students choosing majors, professionals considering career changes, and anyone seeking greater alignment between their work and their natural inclinations.
